Fighter Profession

The Fighter Profession is part of the profession system added in Point Release 7. It is designed to take you through the various stages of using the different fighting skills from being brand new to the skills to becoming a grandmaster

Skills Required[edit | edit source]

In order to progress through the Fighter profession you will require the following skills:

The Quest Line[edit | edit source]

There are 5 stages to the profession line Introduction, apprentice, Journeyman, Master and Grandmaster. Although if you already have a minimum of 30 skill in required skills you can skip the introduction quest.


Learn To Fight (Introduction)[edit | edit source]

The following quest can be skipped if you already have at least 30 points in the required skills.

  1. Activate the profession via the professions UI.
  2. Speak to an NPC Fighter trainer within any of the main towns.
  3. Obtain and equip a Weapon based on the main fighting skill you have chosen, they can be bought from blacksmiths for different prices. To equip the weapon double click on it or drag it onto your character window.
  4. Speak to a NPC Fighter Trainer
  5. Press Spacebar to toggle into combat stance. Press spacebar again to toggle into peaceful stance.
  6. Speak to a NPC Fighter Trainer
  7. Press spacebar to again to go into combat stance, then left click on the Training Dummy and your target will become highlighted.
  8. Move into range to automatically attack your target. Note: If you are using archery you must use the Q or E button to attack.
  9. Speak to the NPC Fighter Trainer

Rewards[edit | edit source]

Once you have completed the quest you will be rewarded with up to 30 the required Fighter Profession Skills

Learn to Bandage (Introduction)[edit | edit source]

As part of the intro fighter profession you must learn to heal yourself.

  1. Speak to a NPC healer in any of the major towns
  2. Obtain at least 1 bandage, they can be bought from general stores in most major towns for 1 Gold each.
  3. Speak to an NPC Healer.
  4. Use a bandage by double clicking it in your backpack and select your patient.
  5. Speak to a NPC Healer

Rewards[edit | edit source]

Once you have completed the quest you will be rewarded with 150 Bandages

The Basics (Apprentice)[edit | edit source]

You must have a minimum of 30 points in the required skills to start this quest.

  1. Begin the quest via the Professions UI.
  2. Speak to a NPC Fighter Trainer in any of the main towns
  3. Enter Valus Sewers, Eldeir Sewers, Pyros' Landing Sewers or Helm Sewers
  4. Hunt 20 Lurker, Giant Rat, Giant Bat or Sewer Rat.
  5. Speak to a NPC Fighter Trainer
  6. Start a Dispatch Missions which you get from the dispatch board in all major towns.
  7. Complete a Dispatch Missions.
  8. Speak to a NPC Fighter Trainer

Rewards[edit | edit source]

Once complete you will be awarded with a training weapon for your chosen weapon skill.

The Dead Rise (Journeyman)[edit | edit source]

You must have a minimum of 50 skill points in the required skills to start this mission.

  1. Begin the quest via the Professions UI.
  2. Speak to a NPC Fighter Trainer in any of the main towns
  3. Travel to one a graveyards that are near Eldeir Village, Helm, Valus and Pyros' Landing.
  4. Kill 20 Zombie, Skeleton or Skeleton Warrior.
  5. Speak to a NPC Fighter Trainer
  6. Hunt a Lich in Abandoned Shrine, Haunted Ruins, Lich Ruins or Valus Cemetery.
  7. Speak to a NPC Fighter Trainer (receive Journeyman Fighter Tome)
  8. Speak to Grandmaster Kato in Eldeir Village Arena and hand him the book.

Reward[edit | edit source]

Bestowed with the rank of journeyman and you can now make use of the Journeyman Fighter Prestige Abilities.

Road To Ruin (Master)[edit | edit source]

You must have a minimum of 80 skill points in the required skills to start this mission.

  1. Begin the quest via the Professions UI.
  2. Speak to a NPC Fighter Trainer in any of the main towns
  3. Locate and speak to Bladius Dart located outside Halls of Ruin.
  4. Enter Halls of Ruin and hunt 10 Liches.
  5. Move to Halls of Ruin level 2
  6. Hunt 15 Mummies
  7. Hunt 3 Lich Lords
  8. Hunt 1 Crypt Dragon
  9. Speak to Bladius Dart outside Halls of Ruin.
  10. Speak to NPC Fighter Trainer
  11. Complete the Great Tree Awakening in Black Forest to find a Tome: Master Fighter by killing Lord Barkas. Alternatively trade or purchase to get the Tome.
  12. Take the Tome: Master Fighter to Grandmaster Kato in Eldeir Village Arena.

Reward[edit | edit source]

Bestowed with the level of Master Fighter and access to the Master fighter Prestige Abilities.

The Catacombs (Grandmaster)[edit | edit source]

You must have a minimum of 100 skill points in the required skills to start this mission. You will also require Skull of Contempt, Skull of Corruption and Skull of Ruin to enter Catacombs.

  1. Begin the quest via the Professions UI.
  2. Speak to a NPC Fighter Trainer in any of the main towns
  3. Travel to Catacombs (requires the 3 skulls to enter)
  4. Speak to Ali-Larus inside the Catacombs hub.
  5. Hunt the Void Channeler within the Catacombs Dungeon.
  6. Speak to Per-Thuas in the Cathedral located in the catacombs hub.
  7. Locate and kill the Void Guardian
  8. Locate and kill Death
  9. Speak to Per-Thuas in the Cathedral located in the catacombs hub.
  10. Obtain a Tome: Grandmaster Fighter from either the awakenings in Barren Lands or trading/buying it from another player.
  11. Take the Tome to Grandmaster Kato in Eldeir Village Arena.

Bestowed with the level of Grandmaster and granted access to the Grandmaster Fighter Prestige Abilities
