Armor is an equip-able item used to protect the player in combat. They are available in 3 types: cloth, light, and heavy.

Heavy Armor pieces lower agility when equipped (-3 per piece).

As of version 0.8.3 armor rating is not increased when crafted with different resources.
Bonus +1/+2/+3 from crafted armors is added after and is not affected by armor skill.

Cloth armor[ | ]

Cloth armor is a light armor type that provides little armor. They can be crafted at a Loom, using the Fabrication skill.

Cloth armor will not slow down mana regeneration.

Light armor is a lighter, less defensive armor type. They can be crafted at a Loom, using the Fabrication skill.

Light armor will slow down mana regeneration.

Heavy armor[ | ]

Heavy armor is the heaviest and most defensive armor type. They can be crafted at an anvil, using the Blacksmithing skill.

Heavy armor will slow down mana regeneration.

As of Early Access v0.8.3 heavy armor made of Chain or Scale suffers a lower agility penalty but has less defensive rating than Plate, as well as have significant aesthetic differences.
