Carpenter Profession

The information in this article is up-to-date as of version Early Access v0.9.0.

The Carpenter Profession is part of the profession system added in Point Release 7. It is designed to take you through the various stages of being a Carpenter from being brand new to the skill to becoming a grandmaster*.

Skills Required

In order to progress through the Carpenter profession you will require the following skills:

• Carpentry

The Quest Line

There are 5 stages to the profession line Introduction, apprentice, Journeyman, Master and Grandmaster. Although if you already have a minimum of 30 skill in required skills you can skip the introduction quest. *(please note that as of Point Release 7 only the introduction & apprentice stages are available for this skill).

Learn Carpentry (Introduction)

The following quest can be skipped if you already have 30 in the Carpentry Skill.

1. Activate the profession via the professions UI.
2. Speak to an NPC Carpenter within any of the major towns.
3. Make 10 Wooden Boards from Wood.
4. Speak to a Carpenter
5. Craft 20 Arrows, (You will need a Carpentry Table & the Wooden Boards that were made earlier).
6. Speak to a Carpenter

Rewards

Once you have completed the quest you will be rewarded with up to 30 skill in Carpentry

Making Mulch (Apprentice)

You must have a minimum of 30 skill to start this quest.

1. Begin the quest via the Professions UI.
2. Speak to a Carpenter in any of the main towns
3. Complete a Crafting Order by accepting one from the Carpenter. Once complete speak to the NPC Carpenter and hand it back.
4. Speak to a Carpenter.

Rewards

When you complete the quest you will receive 100 Wooden Boards

Journeyman

1. Deliver 15 chests to Pyros carpenter
2. Deliver 10 round table to Valus carpenter
3. Deliver 40 Ash boards to Belhaven carpenter

Reward: Reduced crafting time of trivial recipes to 1.5 seconds.

Master

1. Amass 700 bricks
2. Make one of each crafting stations
3. Make 4 Blightwood Warbows and 40 Blightwood Arrows

Reward: Reduced crafting time of trivial recipes to 1 second.

Grandmaster

1. Speak with Kasey Alban in Black Forest / Lumberyard
2. Show her a crafted Bow with +50% attack
3. Bring her a n Artisan's Crafting Commission: Carpentry

Reward: Reduced crafting time of trivial recipes to 0,5 seconds.
