Lumberjack

The Lumberjack Profession is part of the profession system added in Point Release 7. It is designed to take you through the various stages of using the Lumberjack skill from being brand new to the skill to becoming a grandmaster*.

Skills Required[ | ]

In order to progress through the Lumberjack profession you will require the following skills:

The Quest Line[ | ]

There are 5 stages to the profession line Introduction, apprentice, Journeyman, Master and Grandmaster. Although if you already have a minimum of 30 skill in required skills you can skip the introduction quest. *(please note that as of Point Release 7 only the introduction & apprentice stages are available for this skill).


Learn to Lumberjack (Introduction)[ | ]

The following quest can be skipped if you already have 30 in the Lumberjack Skill.

  1. Activate the profession via the professions UI.
  2. Speak to an NPC Carpenter within any of the main towns.
  3. Obtain a Hatchet from a Tinker within a town which will cost 40 Gold.
  4. Speak to a Carpenter
  5. Equip the Hatchet by double clicking on it or moving it on to your character window.
  6. Chop 10 Wood from surrounding trees with the lumberjack skill
  7. Speak to a Carpenter

Rewards[ | ]

Once you have completed the quest you will be rewarded with up to 30 skill in Lumberjack


Chopping Celador (Apprentice)[ | ]

You must have a minimum of 30 skill to start this quest.

  1. Begin the quest via the Professions UI.
  2. Speak to a Carpenter in any of the main towns
  3. Amass 400 Wood from surrounding trees with the Lumberjack skill
  4. Speak to a Carpenter

Rewards[ | ]

When you complete the quest you will receive a Light Hatchet.

Journeyman[ | ]

You must have a minimum of 60 skill to start this quest.

  1. Speak to a Carpenter in any of the main towns
  2. Amass 800 Wood from surrounding trees with the Lumberjack skill
  3. Speak to a Carpenter

Rewards[ | ]

When you complete the quest you unlock a passive ability Feller I which increases your slashing and lancing damage by 5%.

Chopping Celador: Part 3 (Master)[ | ]

You must have a minimum of 80 skill to start this quest.

  1. Speak to a Carpenter in any of the main towns
  2. Amass 2000 Wood from surrounding trees with the Lumberjack skill
  3. Speak to a Carpenter

Rewards[ | ]

When you complete the quest you unlock a passive ability Feller II which increases your slashing and lancing damage by 10%.

Grandmaster[ | ]

When you complete the quest you unlock a passive ability Feller II which increases your slashing and lancing damage by 15%.
